The ASTM A36 hot rolled carbon steel coil is a widely specified general-purpose structural steel grade produced in compliance with the ASTM A36 and ASME SA36 standards. It delivers a balanced combination of moderate strength, excellent weldability and dependable formability, which makes it the first choice for construction, infrastructure and general fabrication projects across the world. The material is manufactured in modern hot strip mills with tight thickness and width tolerances to guarantee consistent mechanical performance from coil to coil.

Every coil is supplied in the hot rolled condition with a clean, uniform surface and can be ordered in mill edge or slit edge format. The product is available in widths from 600mm to 2000mm and thicknesses from 1.5mm to 12mm, with standard coil inner diameters of 508mm and 610mm. Customized dimensions, surface treatments and coil weights are available on request to match specific downstream processing lines and end-use requirements.
