The SS400 hot rolled steel coil is a general structural carbon steel grade produced in accordance with the JIS G3101 standard, the benchmark specification for structural steel across Asia and many international markets. The grade provides dependable tensile strength, excellent weldability and good formability, making it a versatile and economical material for construction, machinery and general fabrication applications.

Supplied in the hot rolled condition with a clean, uniform surface, the coil is available in thicknesses from 1.5mm to 16mm and widths from 600mm to 2000mm, with standard inner diameters of 508mm and 610mm. Each shipment is accompanied by a mill test certificate covering chemical composition and mechanical properties for full quality assurance.

The SS400 coil is specified for general structures, building frames, welded fabrications, machinery parts, pipes and storage equipment. It is the most common structural grade for importers, fabricators and contractors in Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia and other markets using JIS-based specifications, offering a reliable and economical material choice.

Each coil is wrapped with waterproof paper and steel strapping, then loaded into export-grade seaworthy bundles with edge protection and secure lashing. Pre-shipment inspection is standard, with SGS and BV third-party testing available on request. Production is controlled under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
