Perforated C Channel Steel Profile is a cold formed channel section with pre-punched holes, manufactured for curtain wall engineering, ceiling systems and general structural framing. The C shaped section provides a stable, easy to fix channel that resists bending and torsion, while the perforated web and flanges allow bolts, brackets, hangers and services to be fixed at regular centres without on site drilling. The profile is roll formed from galvanized steel strip, giving consistent dimensions and a corrosion resistant surface for indoor and sheltered outdoor use.
The regular hole pattern speeds installation of curtain wall mullions and transoms, suspended ceilings, cable trays, racking and mechanical supports, and the holes can also provide ventilation and drainage where required. Hole pitch, hole diameter and section dimensions are produced to the project drawing, and the galvanized coating protects the profile in humid and moderately corrosive service. Every batch is inspected for dimension and coating quality and supplied with a mill test certificate for full traceability.

Perforated C channels are used in curtain wall and building facade sub frames, suspended ceiling and drywall support systems, cable tray and pipe support, shelving and racking, HVAC and mechanical framing, and general light structural work. The combination of a stable cold formed section and a regular hole pattern makes installation fast and accurate, reducing site labour on facade, ceiling and services projects. The galvanized coating suits humid and sheltered outdoor conditions, and custom hole patterns allow the channel to serve as a combined structural and fixing member.
Quality Assurance & CertificationEvery perforated C channel is produced under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system to the specified standard. Section dimensions, hole pattern, zinc coating weight and mechanical properties are inspected before shipment, and each order is supplied with a mill test certificate for full traceability. We provide SGS third party inspection, coating thickness reports and pre-shipment photographs on request, and can punch, cut and notch sections to your drawings so they arrive ready to install.
