Heavy Duty Welded H Beam Steel Profile is a large fabricated H section produced by welding steel plates for bridge construction and other heavily loaded structures. The H section arranges material at right angles to give strong bending resistance in both axes, an efficient strength to weight ratio and simple, reliable connections, which is why welded H beams are widely used for bridge girders, heavy industrial frames and long span structures. Because the section is welded, web height, flange width and plate thickness can be produced well beyond the range of standard rolled beams, so designs are not limited by mill rolling sizes.
The profile is fabricated from structural grades such as Q235B, Q345B and S355JR, welded by qualified welders under a controlled procedure and inspected by ultrasonic testing of the welds. The finished beam is straightened, dimensionally checked and prepared with paint or galvanizing for corrosion protection. Each beam is supplied with a mill test certificate and welding inspection record, so engineers have the documentation needed for critical bridge and infrastructure projects.

Heavy duty welded H beams are used for bridge girders and cross beams, heavy industrial building frames, crane runways and supports, shipyard and port structures, power plant and process plant steelwork, and large span roofs and platforms. Their ability to be fabricated in large, custom sizes makes them suitable for designs where rolled sections are too small or where the load and span demand a heavily proportioned beam. The combination of high load capacity, qualified welding and documented inspection makes welded H beams a dependable choice for critical infrastructure and heavy engineering projects.
Quality Assurance & CertificationEach welded H beam is produced under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system from certified structural steel plate. Dimensions, straightness, weld quality and mechanical properties are inspected before shipment, and every order is supplied with a mill test certificate and welding inspection record for full traceability. We provide SGS third party inspection, ultrasonic weld reports and pre-shipment photographs on request, and can supply cutting, drilling, bevelling and painting services to prepare beams for erection.
