ASTM A572 Grade 50 HSLA Carbon Steel Plate — Bridge & Heavy Structure Grade

Our ASTM A572 Grade 50 high strength low alloy (HSLA) steel plate provides 345 MPa (50 ksi) minimum yield strength through controlled microalloying with niobium and vanadium, delivering a 38% strength advantage over standard A36 without compromising weldability. With excellent notch toughness and a low carbon equivalent (≤0.45%), this grade is the workhorse specified for highway bridges (AASHTO M270), heavy structural frames, transmission towers, and offshore platform components. We supply North American infrastructure projects, Middle Eastern bridge programs, and Southeast Asian power transmission networks.
