Heavy Gauge Galvanized Steel Plate Hot Dip 3.0mm-20mm Structural Outdoor Grade

Heavy gauge galvanized steel plate combines structural thickness with a thick hot dip zinc coating for long term outdoor performance. Available from 3.0mm to 20mm with coatings up to 600 grams per square metre, it resists atmospheric corrosion for decades in industrial, coastal and rural environments.

Because the coating is applied after rolling, the heavy section keeps a continuous zinc layer across edges and cut faces that would otherwise be the first areas to rust. HYX supplies this plate for load bearing structures that must survive weather, humidity and salt exposure without frequent maintenance.

Heavy gauge galvanized plate is used for transmission and communication towers, greenhouse frames, guardrails, solar mounting structures and outdoor steel platforms. The thick coating means these structures can stay in service for years without the cost and downtime of repainting.

It also suits marine and port facilities, agricultural buildings, water treatment structures and industrial walkways. Engineers specify heavy gauge galvanized steel where load bearing strength and long term corrosion resistance must be delivered together in an exposed or humid environment.

Each lot is inspected for thickness, coating weight and surface condition, and shipped with a mill test certificate stating the zinc coating mass. HYX can arrange SGS or BV inspection and supports third party coating tests when required.

Plates are bundled with steel strapping, protected by waterproof paper and loaded on wooden pallets for container transport. The export package prevents moisture, edge impact and white rust during ocean transit and can be marked for easy identification on site.
